My name is Dennis Enzoveri and I want to talk about campus.
First of all, campus politics is where someone comes up or a need comes up where students want someone to represent them. This is one of the most expensive campaigns that are run by students and we wonder where students get such much money to fund those campaigns.
There are cases where student leaders even spend several millions to get the positions. Let us talk about advantages and disadvantages of becoming a student leader. When one becomes a student, you get several favors such as connection from outside school.
A good example is the case of Babu Owino who was a student leader in the university of Nairobi and who currently serve as a member of parliament representing Embakasi East, he was given an upper hand by other politicians in the national government like Moses Kuria.
Campus politics are characterized by numerous conflicts, there are wars and tribalism is highly practiced; that have brought about certain ethnic groups rights being not regarded.
